Today marks one year of Wheatbelt Local! This time last year I was waiting ready to go into an exam (great timing right?), my phone at the ready… having just celebrated the publishing of the first post on this little blog! I don’t really think anyone read that first post (if you want to, find it here) but Wheatbelt Local has only grown! We’ve featured many different contributors, chatted with plenty of inspiring people, showcased life in the Wheatbelt, provided tips, advice and more! We even got a double page spread in the Wheatbelt Merredin Mercury 🙂 Now, a year on, I’m also getting ready to go into an exam, and celebrating a year of Wheatbelt Local!
We have so much planned for the next year, including… more contributors (if you’re interested, let us know!), more regular features, more giveaways (we are a not-for-profit blog, just Wheatbelt people sharing our passion for the region, so if you have a business and would like to sponsor a giveaway, we’d love to hear from you) and providing more ways to connect!
Thankyou to all our amazing contributors who have provided content this past year. Thankyou to all of our dedicated social media followers (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, Pinterest… you know who you are). Thankyou to all of our blog readers. ThankYOU!
Without further ado, I present to you… the Top 10 Posts from the First Year of Wheatbelt Local! No order, no certain statistics, just chosen! (I was going through our achieves to find these and thought “wow! we have lots of awesome posts!”)
