Do you want to lead a more active lifestyle but need a bit of support and motivation to help you achieve your goals?

ActiveSmart Wheatbelt is an active lifestyle program funded by the Department of Sport and Recreation and aims to create sustainable change for Wheatbelt residents. The program helps residents become more aware of existing facilities and activities and support them in staying active by doing what you enjoy. 

 It’s personalised and specific to your needs and there’s always someone to contact if you need anything. – Jan

Get involved.

ActiveSmart is available to residents in the local government areas of Beverley, Dowerin, Goomalling, Koorda, Merredin, Moora, Narrogin, Northam, Toodyay, Wyalkatchem and York. You can sign up and enter your details and be sent an information pack with opportunities to get ActiveSmart in your local area.

Even if you’re not in the above shires, you can still access a large range of online tools and resources.

The ActiveSmart website has a large range of resources available to you for FREE!  There’s everything from a printable activity planner, to a Wheatbelt sport and recreation directory and a basic bike maintenance tip sheet.

Exercise is more fun if you have someone to do it with (and to keep you on track!) Thousands of people across the Wheatbelt are getting active. You can follow ActiveSmart on Facebook and Twitter to connect with other ActiveSmart participants across the Wheatbelt and get access to even more resources and tips.
