Camp Kulin July Holiday Camps

Camp Kulin, the Wheatbelt’s own internationally recognised camp school, will be holding two American-style summer camps for children aged between eight and twelve in the July school holidays, including one just for Wheatbelt kids!

Located in Kulin, in the heart of the southern Wheatbelt, the camp is within close proximity of the Kulin Water Slide (the largest in regional Australia), Freebairn Recreation Centre, the Tin Horse Highway and many natural attractions, making it the perfect place to run camps and activities.

During the July school holidays, one camp will be held for kids from Perth, but a special camp has been organised just for young Wheatbelt kids who would like to have a week to remember and meet new friends, gain confidence, learn leadership skills, have a heap of fun and so much more. Some of the many activities that will be run at the camp include rock climbing, a scavenger hunt, sports, arts and crafts and a talent show as well as a few excursions to local places.

The Wheatbelt camp is open to Wheatbelt children aged between eight and twelve and will run from the 7th to the 11th of July 2014. For a cost of only $275, all accommodation, food, activities, supervision and fun will be provided by the Camp Kulin team of twelve volunteer counsellors, led by Tanya Dupagne. Tanya has had over ten years experience running camps and youth activity programs, including for at risk children, in Australia, America, South Africa and Vietnam and is a leader in her field who has been recognised at state, national and international levels.

Places are expected to run out quickly, so don’t hesitate in booking a place today. To receive a camper information pack or booking form, send an email to campkulin@kulin.wa.gov.au
